The number to beat: 285 Masseys in one paddock

The world record for Massey Ferguson tractors gathered in one place is 285. We reckon the south can do better than that.

The Massey Muster is the centrepiece of the whole weekend. Condition doesn't matter. A concours restoration and a paddock hack with bird nests under the bonnet count exactly the same in the tally.

A world record attempt comes with rules. There'll be independent witnesses, stewards doing the counting, and video of the whole thing running uninterrupted. We're running the attempt on both the Saturday and the Sunday, so a tractor that can't make one day can still make the other.

The maths is simple: we need 286. If you know a Massey owner, send them this. Machine registration opens soon, and subscribing on the exhibit page gets you the entry form the day it goes live. More on the Massey Muster here.
