From the pre-event working bees to the last trailer out the gate,
there's a job for every pair of hands. Ten Teams, each with its own job description. Tell us what interests you:
Welcome Team
Ambassadors of the show. Greet every visitor, hand out event information and help the crowd flow at the entrances. We want our Volunteers to be seen.
Gate Entry Team
Check tickets and wristbands, answer entry queries and keep the front gate moving, from early arrivals to the afternoon rush.
Admissions Team
Welcome exhibitors, check in approved machine entries, hand out display kits and keep the records straight as the field fills up.
Carpark & Traffic Flow Team
Direct vehicles in, keep the parking grid tight and manage the flow to and from the paddock. High-vis on, a great one for clubs.
Display Team
The working-bee crew: signage, fencing, barriers, marquees and tables before the gates open, then packed away safely after.
Steam Team
Out among the machinery and vehicle displays. Liaise with owners and drivers, watch the barriers and help keep the crowd safe during the Grand Parade.
Vendor Support Team
Help vendors and exhibitors find their sites, then keep an eye on the vendor areas for tidiness and safe practice through the weekend.
i-SITE & Merchandise Team
Answer questions, point people the right way and sell the official merch. POS and cash handling, and a tidy, safe stall.
Hospitality Team
Look after the people looking after the show: prepare and deliver refreshments to Volunteers on site and keep the water topped up.
Maintenance Team
Keep the grounds safe and tidy: bins, recycling stations, public areas and the toilet and shower blocks, so the site looks as good on Sunday as it did on Friday.

to helping out wherever you are placed. This can be discussed when the
Volunteer Coordinator rings you.
