Planes and Clydesdales join the lineup

Two more for the programme. One flies in over the fence and the other walks on four legs.

Two additions are confirmed for Easter 2027, and neither of them runs on tracks or wheels.

The fly-in. The Cromwell airfield sits just over the fence from the racecourse, and across the weekend aircraft will be flying in and parking up as a static display. You'll be able to walk the fence line and look them over between everything else on the programme. Weather calls the shots with light aircraft, so what lands on any given day is up to the sky. We're not promising numbers. We're promising planes.

The Clydesdales. Working Clydesdale demonstrations, on the ground amongst it. Before the tractors turned up, horses like these did the pulling on every farm in the country, and watching a team work is something you don't forget. The kids can get a look at the original horsepower next to the modern stuff parked a paddock over.

Both are now on the What's On list alongside the Massey Muster, the tractor pull and the rest of the field. More announcements are coming as they're confirmed.

Tickets aren't on sale yet. Put your email in on the tickets page and you'll hear the moment they are.
