The paperwork is done. Peter Macdougall for Tracks & Wheels and Wayne Dixon for the Central Lakes Equestrian Club have signed the agreement that makes the Cromwell Racecourse the home of the event. The council sign-offs have come through as well, so the whole thing is fully green lit. No going back now.
It's the whole grounds, not a corner of them, and the agreement runs six years, which covers three editions of the event. That's what lets us plan properly rather than a year at a time. Easter 2027 is the first one.
Signing the venue is the bit everything else hangs off. The site plan can be finalised, the Massey Muster paddock gets marked out, the tractor pull gets its spot at the bottom of the hill, and the trade sites can be laid out for real.
Tickets aren't on sale yet. Machine registration isn't open yet either. Both are close. Put your email in on the tickets page and you'll hear when they drop, or subscribe on the exhibit page if you're planning to bring something.
